Hi!

I'm woundering how to train magic level, since My magic level is still at lvl 4, no matter how many diffrent spells I try to use.

Quesion: How do I train my Magic level? (Is it only trainable in pvp?)


Rebirth Mechanics:
Every now and then My level goes to EXACTLY lvl 8, which means all my spells stop working. I can, on my Paladin, still use autoattacks/basic attacks. To get a kill too gain 1+ level and keep using my spells. I can on my Paladin also use all the healing/mana runes/vials.

However, my Druid can NOT use any of the lvl 8 rods when my Druid hit a lvl 8.
When that happens on my Druid, I can not use my rod, my runes/vials or my spells.
And I can not magic level on this character either (Gibbs = Druid)

Is the rod item bugged for druids at lvl 8 and is the spells supposed to stop at everytime you hit lvl 8?

Remark: I do NOT hit lvl 8 on all Rebirth levels. It only occurs randomly.

Example for lvl 8 bug.

Druid hit lvl 8 and can not use spells or rods or potions/runes at:
Login first time start lvl 8. Had to pick up a Mace to kill a rotworm o gain access to function of the rod.

Rebirth 1, 2,4,5,8,9,11,14,19 ect. Random.

Paladin can use items at first login at lvl 8. Can use Runes/vials on any rebirth when stuck on lvl 8, but no spells are working as stated.

Rebirth 17. 24. 25. 35. Random when I hit lvl 8 precise and my spells stop working and I have to single target something to kill in order to get function of my spells back.

Is it something that happens to prevent botting regarding the Rebirth spell stop at lvl 8?

Would appreciated if all responses can be relevant to the post.

Magic level is obtained by casting spells that use mana. The staff made a spell called "mana consume" which takes 25% of your mana for training purposes . However at your rebirth you shouldn't worry about magic level, since it only matters for SD dmg / mega mas flam of sorcerers (both are only useable at 1000 rebirths).
For your rebirth issue, there is something called "autorebirth" for the lower rebirths (until reb 800). Once you've reached the maximum level and this feature is activated (you may deactivate it by using "!autorebirth off", you will be reset to level 8, it is supposed to be like this. However if you are killing monsters with AOE spells you may be reset to level 8 but since multiple monsters died you will level beyond the level 8 with that aoe e.g. level 100000.

I do know that I gain Magic level by casting spells that use mana, however it does not grant me any magic level at all. Not 1% out of all the mana consuming spells I have used, and I'm not talking about the "special" spells for aoe dmg or anything like that.

I can kill 30 monsters at the same time on the same spell, or kill 30 Monsters with 1 spell in 3 waves, and the 30 monster die on diffrent waves, I still get stuck on level 8.

It is ONLY my druid that is having issue with spells AND rods, and runes, when hitting lvl 8 again. It will not attack and no runes can keep me alive since I'm not allowed to use it from lvl 8.

My Paladin is able to use the runes from lvl 8 and weapons, and the spells does 0dmg when I am at lvl 8. not 336dmg but accually precise 0 dmg.

I am rebirth lvl 151 atm, while figuring some stuff out.

depends on ur Vocation. Knights obviously dont level magic level fast. Druids/sorcs have their max mage lv @ 150 , paladins 24 or 26 and idk about knights.

also. the closer you get to the max magic level the longer it takes. someone told me that it takes you like a week of intensive mana consuming to get from 140-142 or w/e.


Regarding to your complaints about the level 8 bug. Either get a good weapon that works on level 8. or use the Mega spell. i think that spell dont require a higher level than 8 and will allow you to do AOE damage.

forgotten legend also works on level 8 but wont do enough damage to kill stuff, unfortunately.

I know it's a little late for this but the reason your mlevel is going up so slow is because your rebirth is low, meaning that your 25% of mana is really low compared to someone with higher reb, so when you use 25% of your mana you're really just using 25 million mana (just an example not an exact number) whereas a higher reb will be using 25 billion mana (again, just an example), so their magic level will go up much quicker. I could be wrong however since I haven't played in a while.
