To start with, I'd like to share some of the old information I recieved from the staff.
As you may know, it may've been hard to mail the Staff and recieve an answer. They did however answer but it may've taken a while. I do not blame them. (what can you expect from 2 players running the server).
However, they've been working to increase the server engine. By increasing the server engine, there should be no lagg.
They've been working full time hours to optimize the game engine. This is something you can't see since its a work completely done behind the scenes, but basically they've reached a point with the server engine where they have to look up every part of code and rewrite it. The stable engine you playing on most of ots took 4-6 years to be done by many developers around the world (before we show up at the OTS field). However, since the start of highexp server and they had to customize this server engine to fit up with the server needs since the original engine was never created to handle such extreme amount of calculations, monsters, player status and so forth. Now due to the special case of the server we are working on we have to rethink of adjusting the engine to fit up with the server type to increase its performance and eliminate the randomly occurring lags. So far they are rapidly moving and it actually gets better now, but still they didn't reach the final version.
I personally give my appreciation to them while they're trying to improve the server engine.
Now to the second part.
There was a moment when the server didn't lagg after a "debug-run" from Admin.
However, I noticed that my connection is not 100% with the server. I dont know why, but I manage to play other games with a good connection, but here, I somehow lagg.
(I lagg more than other players).
Just like any other player, I want to advance in levels/rebirths, And since I dont want to complain but instead let them work this through without spamming the mails. I've come to an decision.
'The only reason I'm sharing this is because I'm an Helper.'
I've been talking to my brother who's got a better connection than me. So he will be on Riesen leveling. However, since he's not the "real" Riesen, he wont reply on any messages. So I suggest you follow the things below.
Suggestions:
* Always use the Help Channel
* If Riesen do not reply, and none replies on the Help channel, message Ebony.
* Private issues I cannot really help with so msg the staff on Support@highexp.eu
* You can also use their support page for help.
