Someone with 40 can one shot me with runes.

At lower levels, anyone can get one shot, and even more if you don't have a full Rich set. The solution to this is to get more rebirths and try to get a full Rich set.

Your equipment and rebirth matters alot. I had the same problem as you when I started, But when I was around 400 I noticed that knight are pretty good and the classes balanced. Just give it more time and you'll see =)
I'm pretty sure if you ask any mage they'll think that knights are "overpowered".

I can't even be bothered anymore. I can't level anywhere because I'm always getting one shot by low level noobs with their Admin SD.

Basically this server is portraying spend real life money or get the fuck out.

Tell me why i should get 400 rebirths to be able to stand a chance?
From 1 rebirth the game should be balanced.

Not - Sorcerer's, Druids and Paladins are op from the word go but if you want to play a knight you've got to suffer for a week or 2 until you manage to gain a few rebirths without being killed.

About donate for items, alot of ppl here haven't donated anything to get there things, they've been looting donation coins and Exeprience eggs from monsters to buy rich items from players.Including me. Ofcourse it takes time but ppl do it.
I think you should give the server some time I've been here for 4 months and Im still addicted.

Okay, in a real tibia scenario, would you expect to survive an incoming sudden death rune from a considerably high mage at level 8? Basically no, you can't stand a chance, so you have to level up. Therefore you can't expect to be a tank at level 8 (ex: 100 rebirths) and at the same time have such a low protection bonus.
