okay so this server has so much potential in my opinion, but then i come back and see 20 players online. its a shame this server went so far down to be honest, the old days in 8.60 was the best time for this server, still dont understand why thats changed tbh, but okay. it is what it is

but what is the point of keeping the server up, if there are 20 players online? in my opinion the server needs a reset, and i know its not nice for the high reb players, but they should ask themselves, do i want to be a high player, or actually have fun playing a game

and i also know what the staff thinks about a reset, thats one of the reasons i quitted here, but maybe they changed their mind?

Isn't the point with a reset so everyone have a fair chance to try and catch up with the big boys.?
The reason why players left are due to the fact that they didn't like the update. In some cases it's a dumb reason > players left because their friend says the update sucks (yes, players actually gave me that as a reason). And in the later cases, players left because of the activity from other players.

If I'm going to give my own view;.. most of the changes within this update became necessary..
- but, unfortunately they pushed it a lil'to far. If this would've been implemented when they first started Highexp (forgottenNL), this would not have been an issue. But going from non-grinding to extreme grinding so late into the servers "uptime".. yeah..
However, they have the intention of releasing a patch that will hopefully fix (aka) reduce the amount of gridning that made it "not fun". (with restrictions ofc). e.g the insane amount of MDC to purchase Blessings

With that being said; I dont want to neglect your idea.. but some minor changes and new players wont have issues catching up with the old players. I took a break for 2 to 3 years > got back and leveled from 1820 to 2016 within 5(?) days with the new features from the update. If they do a reset > Give me a month (maybe 2) and I'm back to 2016 again. And on my Sorc I got from 691 to 1145 fairly quickly too. If they were to fix the server to remove MDC to reb below 1000 (maybe even 1500 tbh) newcommers wont have any issues at all to catch up.


Personally think they should focus on "why" players left in the first place instead of running with these changes and just reset it. And also do some compensation for the players that deserves it.
