Generally the server doesn't have lag but whenever it lags for some technical reasons we always perform a quick restart then the lags are gone.

Regarding the sprite animation it's true that recently we have faced problems with the max allowed animations into the Tibia Client itself, so basically we will start working on every thing that makes an animation from the structure and try to resolve the problem (those fixes will be applied within the next major update, it will be this summer, soon).
