Lack of help.

Before I kick off this thread I would like to say I have nothing against the helpers and I appreciate what they done for the server, I really do. But I have to tell you folks the more you look around the server the more you realize something is wrong.

The server is lack of help, people that join the server just quit because there is no supporters with more. And I know many of you will comment ``his doing this for status`` but no I really don’t I just want the best for the server and that is new helpers and active staff..

I know that the helper roll is ``useless`` but it’s actually a good way to show players that the player is a supporter and work for the staff. And it also a good way to scare some botters, because if more helpers are online the more people don’t bot because the helpers will keep an eye on them right? But unfortunately in this server it’s the opposite it’s like having a community without cops that can watch over the bad guys.

Lastly I would like to say that I appreciate those players that actually help beginners and you guys know who you are.

I totally agree with your point, and the server really need some new staff. I see you often helping people and doing your best and Hortblade as well. But it’s time for some new helpers. I hope Staff take a look into this. Kind regards Melaina

you dont need "Helper" to help players, you can help them without any rank.

That's true, but there should be someone to hold up the rules too right? That's a part of the task the helpers have but since there are mostly no helpers online who's gonna make sure that the rules doesn't get violated?

there are plenty of good players with enough knowlegde of the server to help some new and starting players, with server issues u can send an email. for example dhavii, he's a helpfull players and i think he is not helping people to become a helper, just because he likes it

Guess there's nothing much else to say, don't get me wrong I love to be a helper but 90% of the server don't know whats the real thing about being a helper (they barely know the rules). I heard that dhavii is doing a great job helping new players, and thats awesome, I started like that too. But helpers arent just about helping others, they're also about being reasonable, trustworthy, respect and be respected and sometimes take right and fast decisions. And I really dont think helpers are needed atm.

I'd love to be more active as usual, but I've been facing a lot of RL issues.

What I wanna point out is: Usually takes 24-48 hours to get an e-mail replied by staff I guess me and most of the players who sent e-mail to them didnt got replied up to 1 week I heard about 1 month to get replied! So I guess you cant ask to helpers being active when even the staff isn't active, or if active isn't replying players and helpers.

That said, I heard dustintje retired or is on vacations dunno, but I guess you should ask him before pointing a "Lack of help"

Just so you know I've been online last week almost every day for 3-4 hours. All I got was ppl spamming me to jail "skiller boters", and gollum showed me an e-mail staff replied him, that until they change a few things, skill boting is allowed. Besides that I jailed this same guy who was trading trough other OTs and after jail, creating another account. Did that until jail was full, so all the "mighty power" I had was useless since after jail is full I cant jail anyone else.

That was pretty much the ""help"" server needed at least for the total of 20 hours~~ I was online. No players on help channel asking things, hardly a few low reb players PMing me asking for items. So yeah, I guess you guys are right asking for more "active staff" but new helpers is totally not the solution. Since we actually can do nothing as well pointed.

Don't get me wrong, love the server and I'm not complaning, also I didnt offered a solution to this "issue" so I hope other thoughts are shared in this thread too.

_Dhavii you can help players with out "Helper Rank" like "Sariel" said : Helpers only can give jail for 6 hours,also they got a cool collor in help channel + they got "helper" every so often ,so all of we know that u want to take a helper but u must to wait "When Helper Position Open, open threads wont to help you to take a "Helper".

I’m posting this because of there is no one that can help when I’m not online beside when helpers are online which is basically once in a month. I heard WAY! Too many players complain about the poor service when I’m not online which shouldn’t be. It’s not about me it’s about getting your work done.

lol, there is many ppl help new players in server not you only.
