Before you think I sound like a hypocrite, have in mind that there were no rules (except the FaQ which I didn't abuse) when I first used bot.
This is taken from the rules.
Taken from the current rules (as mentioned) which makes Dhavii's thread quite legitimate.
I don't see the issue/problem, he's simply reporting a botter with proof.. unlike most players do..
even tho he used a potato recorder.
However, the thing that triggers me is the way the staff "solved it". I understand that it can be quite hard to handle these kind of things (dont get me wrong).. but this new system is just like the old one but with a new function. Basically it jails the player instead of killing him.
With the old system, you were "allowed" to bot as long as you answered the question.
My question is, what exactly is illegal? According to the new system (taken from the ChangeLog).. it doesn't really create any "scary(ness)". Basically you can BoT as much as you wont without any real fear what'll happen.
"ohh, I got caught.. np, I'm just jailed for 5-6 hours"
etc etc..
I doubt anyone is dumb enough to fall for the same thing twice. And even if they managed to fail twice.. banned for 1(?) week.
I can tell you this, if I ever come back and play regulary, I'd probably use BoT too with this current "rule".
Imo, Staff, you should be more clear about the rules. So players like Dhavii don't waste their time reporting things like these.
I remember a while ago catching several players using bot but apparently a video wasn't enough because there was "no way" you could tell "if" a player used bot. Or there was some other reason(s).

It's not that I'm mad or anything =) I just find this plain stupid. As a starter, we knight's can barely advance in Magic Level and SD (according to Admin) is based on Magic Level.
At least add a way so we Knights can abuse too, please.
I'm tired of rebirthing without gaining any real power.. and I rather not get a new scenario like Ultimate Powerz and Gollum, simply using the same software all the others but losing all their rebs months later.

Have in mind that I'm not trying to bring something old up that's quite useless now. But you should also have in mind that they'd spend month fishing those monsters. Just as most botters probably do now to gain rebirths by killing things. Better to handle all of this now by setting up legitimate rules etc etc,
Because when I login and see a botter, I'll follow the rules as a Helper.
