Ok hello guys i wanne explain what helpers are for because most people have the wrong idea since they think we're supposed to solve bugs or banish people

Well for those people here's the list of things a helper should do :

Helper should help people into Help Channel and therefor he should be a good reader for Server FAQ.


a) Helper Answer Questions Related to the Game

The single most important duty of helpers is to answer questions concerning all aspects of Xerazx-OTS. They must answer truthfully and to the best of their knowledge. Also, they may offer advice on problems concerning the rules, but their opinion does not necessarily reflect the official position of Xerazx-OTS Team. Every Helper is free to decide whether he wants to answer in-depth questions concerning the content of the game, e.g. questions about quests or not. Generally helpers should support their help by referring to a corresponding part of the documentation. For additional information they can also link to a supported fansite.

b) Helpers Check Both the Help Channel and the Support Boards on a Regular Basis

The help channel is where players can contact Helpers in the game. Consequently, Helpers should always keep an eye on it. If a Helper finds that no other Helper is active on the help channel, he or she should be prepared to step in and take over. In addition to the help channel Helpers should also check the support boards regularly to see if there are questions that need to be answered.

c) Helpers Report Bugs

Helpers who learn about a bug or find one themselves should deliver detailed bug reports to Xerazx-OTS Team. To do so the client's bug report dialog should be used. It can be opened by Submiting a Ticket. Note that Helpers should only report actual bugs and not mistake them for game weaknesses. For a more detailed description see the section concerning bug reports.



So as you can see we're not supposed to do that much just check the helper application so you can see everything a helper should do

Thats nice, but the problem is there are many players (those who thinks that we helpers have unlimited power) that dont access forum.
But please players, keep in mind that we're here to make sure that the rules are being followed and to help the players who have questions that we know the answer. Besides that, we're regular players like anyone else.

I want to explain some thing too


Most Players is hate helpers i dont know why only helper do is helping u to can play well and dont tell them bad words they Are good heart @ see in ur self when u need help and u was tell bad words of helpers what u will do ? they will help u and be Good with them they are do much for ur help Whatever the circumstances

You know why some people hates helpers
because, they Always asking for a invite for a house or they asking for items....

Auto Powerz u are right in ur all word xD

A ingame command that explain what the Helpers do would probably come in handy.
Since players doesn't open the forum or even read the FAQ.(basically doesn't read the information).

Like:
!helpers
- Helpers are regular players with some advantages.. etc etc >

Basically add the information what their purpose is and their restrictions so players can read it ingame.
Also add a link to the Forum thread about Helpers and the email if they want to report a bug.

It's annoying when the Helpers get the wrong view from players.
