Can someone explain to me why when I die I lose magic level?

I asked a player called Omarion He told me that he Is not losing magic level when he dies.


So I want to know what is going here and why Im losing magic levels!

im getting magic level so hard and losing it in 1~2 times dying.

The bugged player is Omarion then. But I got a feeling he's lying.
Whenever a retard freeze me at the fishing area and I die, I lose both magic levels and sword fighting skills.
